Throughout thousands of years of Jewish history, the roots of our individual identity grow out of the depths. Our togetherness is expressed in the united tree-trunk, out of which the many and varied branches thrust upwards, and turn into flames of spiritual light that ascend to heights in longing for G-d the Holy One.
