When I heard the Passuk "Which God created to do" – I thought of bread.
The regular bread, the sandwiches I make every morning anew. Every morning the same questions are asked: "What's in the baguette?" "What's in the pita?" and I think to myself: its (as if) I was also renewing every day the act of creation,
The creator of the world "renews his goodness every day in the act of creation" and thats how I chose to call my artpiece.
This project contains items of food, that are small, basic, colorful but so significant to me. This is how I connect to creation, through the smallest things that are actually the highest. In my eyes, bread is one of the most basic things. You can almost say "boring," "casual," "everyday," but without it, it is impossible … so I chose bread to be the center of my work. May everyone eat the sandwiches that they prepare for themselves every day .
