Rabbi Chaim of Volozin, wrote in his book "Nefesh HaChayim" [The Soul of Life] , that if an individual repeats, believes and internalizes that there is only one power in the world – the power of the Holy One, then no one, nowhere and nothing can harm him, and he will be saved from all troubles. That is the oneness of G-d and the unity of all creation
And this are his words: "And indeed it is a great matter and a wonderful virtue to be able to remove and nullify all laws and others desires which we cannot control, when man receives upon himself to say:
G-d is the true G-d, and there is no one else besides Him in the world and all of the worlds. Everything is full with the simple unity of Him, Blessed is He.
And he cancels in his heart complete annulment, to not oversee at all any power and desire in the world, and he enslaves the purity of his thought only to the One Above.
Then he will be blessed that all the forces and desires in the world will be abolished from him, so that nothing can work against him at all..”
